About Dale
Tiffany
Dale Tiffany began manufacturing
Tiffany
lamps
and shades in 1979 and emphasized high quality reproductions featuring
classic Louis Comfort Tiffany designs. While high quality
Tiffany
style light fixtures are very expensive to manufacture, Dale Tiffany
had the first factory in the world capable of standardizing the stained
glass production process and thus lowering costs so that these
beautiful creations were available to the average consumer.
Every
Dale
Tiffany lamp
and light fixture is made using only the highest quality genuine
hand-rolled art glass. To actually assemble the shades into
the
classic patterns that Dale Tiffany fixtures are known for, the Copper
Foil Technique is used. This authentic assembly method was
first
developed by Louis Tiffany and is still used to make every Dale Tiffany
light fixture.
Featuring stained glass,
reverse-painted glass,
hand-blown glass, and even the infamous Favrille glass patented by
Louis Tiffany, Dale Tiffany creates dazzling designs that continue to
lead the industry today. Original Dale Tiffany designs are
inspired by some of the grand masters including Louis Comfort Tiffany,
Philip J. Handel, and even Frank Lloyd Wright. Using only the
finest materials and leading the industry in design, Dale Tiffany has
certainly captured the timeless elegance of America’s classic
designers while making them affordable for the rest of us.
